Dear KESECO¡¯s All Business Partners,
Thanks for
exerting your utmost efforts to prosper ULTRA business so far.
In relation to the recent acquisition
of UL safety certification in compliance with UL 508 standard, KESECO have
decided not to maintain the existing MET safety certification of UL 916
standard in the reason of the duplication of similar certification as to the
same market territory representing Canada and United States. In addition, the
newly-achieved UL certification has better public credibility to the relevant
fields as well known.
Pursuant
to this circumstance, KESECO request all our business partners to draw your
attention on this matter, and appropriately carry out the followings in time;
• The existing MET certification mark is able
to be used until Dec. 31, 2013.
• Therefore, MET certification mark must
be removed from all existing materials before Jan. 1, 2014 in order not to be
involved in a legal claim from MET laboratory.
• Instead of MET certification mark, the
newly-achieved UL certification mark is able to be applied from the present
moment as Dec. 06, 2013.
• As to the use of MET certification mark
after Dec. 31, 2013, KESECO have no legal liability in any case.
